Missions and Goals 1) Execution some functions which legally have been transferred to the Association from institutions and Public organizations. 2) Preserving legal common rights and interests of the member producers of the association. 3) Generating pleasant relations between the members 4) Collecting necessary standards for quality control of goods and services and also cooperation with Iran Standard and Industrial Research Institute (ISIRI)/ Ministry of Health and Medical Education, and other valid and respectable Iranian and foreign bodies 5) Compelling the members to follow technical principles and compile national standards and also access to international related standards for their productions and their commitment about their contracts inside or outside of Iran. 6) Proving potential capabilities of the member companies that are active in the fields of medical equipment manufacturing to public health units, medical science universities, other related organizations and public opinion. 7) Promotion of culture and training of design and manufacture of medical equipment. 8) Managing and organizing inter-change of domestic capabilities and capacities. 9) Encouragement of members to follow up related standards according to updated technologies in design and manufacturing of productions and also surveillance of imported necessary parts. 10) Encouraging consumer organizations, centers and institutions of medical equipment to request for the association approval about quality of necessary equipment when special items have not been approved by ISIRI. 11) Promoting operational bodies and decision maker centers, not to use foreign equipment when domestic related goods and services are reliable. 12) Compiling operational and surveillance policies by cooperation of the domestic member companies or foreign sides on the basis of the country's current law and regulation. 13) Cooperation in establishment of funds and syndicated credential and guarantee institutes and also cooperative companies for purchasing the members goods, inside and outside the country and their employee's utilization from cooperative companies by acquiring necessary permission from legal authorities. 14) Gaining necessary information and publications in the field of medical equipment for the members of the association use. 15) Establishment of libraries and issuing useful magazines and promoting new technical principles about medical equipment and delivering necessary training. 16) Preserving legal rights and members' relation with employers and also country's officials for settling the disputes and offering typical contracts. 17) Collaboration with interested celebrities, ministries and organizations for progress of the association members' activities. 18) Participation in audit commissions for labor, tax and social insurance affairs which are related to the association members and attraction of governmental support such as tax, insurance and customs exemptions for competition with foreign sources (by respecting legal issues and getting necessary permits). 19) Participation in settlement of disputes commissions to resolve the challenges between association members and organizations, administrations and related employers. 20) Presenting information about the association members' field of activities to interested ministries and organizations. 21) Introducing universities students in medical engineering field to the association members for apprenticeship in accordance with Ministry of Labor and social affairs and also close contact with industry-university relation bureaus. 22) Preparation of necessary plans for investment attraction for execution of related work with the subject of members' field of action. 23) Guiding the producer members of the Association in the area of job-classification and other issues which are efficacious in improvement of affairs. 24) Establishment of welfare and educational facilities for the association members and their relatives (by getting permission from the related organizations). 25) Establishment of expertise units (per case) for observation of appropriate execution of the guild contracts in accordance with the determined goals in the Association statute (in case of disagreement) and undertaking written query by approval of the board of directors.
