AMEDAL main activities in 1387 A.H.S (March 21, 2008-March 21, 2009)
• Holding 11th Iran Med International Fair and also 2nd Iran Lab. International fair. • Holding up the second annual gathering of medical, dentistry and laboratory equipment producers in collaboration with Medical Equipment Department (Ministry of Health and Medical Education) and face to face discussion about this industry challenges and necessity for transparency of some of the laws and criteria of this department. • Making some changes in the Association statute and its approval in an extra ordinary meeting of the shareholders on January 21, 2009. • Making the association accounting activities centralize through contracting party. • Generating steering committee (observation council) of Iran Med for upgrading quality of the fair and negotiation for annual holding of the fair with TPO (regarding support from Ministry of Health and Medical Education). • Holding annual general assembly gathering for selection of inspector (January 21, 2009) • Holding extra – ordinary share holders meeting for approval of changes in AMEDAL statute (January 21, 2009). • Establishment of a production-distribution cooperative company for the association members. • Reconstruction and renovation of archive and secretariat depts. of the Association. • Redesign of the association website for better and more reliable interaction with the members. • Approving publication of special books and multimedia software package for introducing the association and its members • Value added tax exemption for consuming medical, dentistry and laboratory items, (before this, the exemption was limited to some medical items). • Scrutinizing requests and introducing applicants to Ministry of Industries and Mines for utilization of facilities of working capital of forex fund. • Reinvestigating of the members' dossier to determine their membership and compiling final list of association members. • Design and execution of new membership certificates for the members. • Follow up cancellation of the law for banning establishment of industrial units in 120 km radius around big cities and getting permissions for some of the member companies. • Re-activating of medical, industries, trade, exports and marketing commissions and organizing reception and dispute settlement committee. • Preparing the Association identification document (upon the order of Iran Trade promotion organization (T.P.O). • Preparation and sending latest information of tenders and bids to the members via e-mail and Association website. • Follow up the establishment of medical industry department in Ministry of Industries to facilitate observation and resolving the Association members' problems.
• Follow up for elimination of value – added tax for all medical, dentistry and laboratory equipment. • Follow up tariff systems |
