Iranian Association of Medical, Dental & Lab Equipment Manufacturers

Association of Medical, Dentistry and lab. equipment manufacturers (AMEDAL) was established by some of producers in 1998 with the goal of supporting this industry and by official permit of Ministry of Labor and social Affairs. Two years later, the Association succeeds to gain founding licence from Ministry of Industry as an expertise association.
Following approval of the association statute, and election of its board of directors, AMEDAL began its activity from October 1998. At the starting point, the Association followed necessary measures for recruiting members from the heads of industry equipment production companies.Since then, some 260 production companies in various levels have been accepted as constant or temporary member of this association. Recent news suggest that 141 production companies – that are member of the association- succeed to acquire credit-worth national and international certificates and meet all the requirement for constant membership with voting right in general assemblies.
Among the most important measures of the association (from the beginning to recent times), is its close relation with Ministry of Industries and mines and Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Islamic Republic of Iran Parliament expertise commissions and other organizations which could make constructive decisions to resolve this industry problems.
Beside transferring difficulties of medical, dentistry and laboratory equipment manufacturers to responsible organizations, AMEDAL have always tried to reclaim full right of this industry owners. At the moment, the Association has been accepted as a trust worthy non-governmental body, by related ministries and public organizations especially Ministry of Industries and Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
Six round of board of directors' election have been held since the beginning of the Association activities. The 6th board of directors now tries to resolve the members' difficulties by persistent measures and follow the growth path more quickly than the past, through utilizing past experiences and active presence of the members in related bodies.
